The Parish Nurse Ministry, operated by Rose Goyke, RN,
is a vital part of the health ministry of Peace Lutheran Church.
Churches have been promoting health and wholeness for centuries through
worship, music, sharing and caring. Another dimension is the inclusion
of a registered nurse. The nurse assists members of the congregation to
become more aware of their health and move toward a fuller sense of wholeness.
Healing and caring activities were a focal part of the ministry of Jesus
and that ministry continues to belong in the church community. ...more

By sending friendly notes and Christmas bags, they reach out to the homebound
members of Peace.
