Ministries at Peace Lutheran Church
-- In baptism God frees all people and gathers them into the church to minister to the world.

-- Every Christian is created for ministry (Eph. 2:10), saved for ministry (2Tim. 1:9), called to ministry (1Peter 2:9-10), authorized for ministry (Matt. 28:18-20), commanded to minister (Matt. 28:26-28), prepared for ministry (Eph. 4:11-12), needed for ministry (1Cor. 12:27), accountable for ministry (Col. 3:23-24). (Purpose Driven Church, Rick Warren, p. 268).

-- Every ministry is important. There are no insignificant ministries (1 Cor. 12:18-22).

-- We are dependent on each other. Every ministry is intertwined with every other ministry. Each ministry is needed to complete the picture. We must work together.

-- We have been called to faith and given gifts for ministry. We have Christ's promise to be with us as we seek to be faithful in our ministry.

-- We are called to use our gifts in the context of the community of the church.
